- Here's a list of bookstores for the nerd:
- STACEY'S Professional Bookstore was one of my two favorite stores in Cupertino. The stores are pleasant, well organized, and the salespeople have a clue. The only downside is that they don't have the breadth of the mega bookstores.
- Computer Literacy was the other favorite. It's just plain Nerd Book Heaven. They even have a little fiction. The fact that it was on the Apple campus helped a lot. Convenience is good.

- I haven't actually bought anything from Book Stacks Unlimited (aka books.com), but they sometimes have a slightly cheaper price.
