Last night was the St. Paul Saints pre-season opener. As the game started, it was a beautiful evening, but due to a half-dozen errors, the local boys had a rough night of it.
Coming into the 9th inning, they were down by 5 runs, and it was pretty clear that everyone just wanted to get home. The temperature had dropped into the 50s, and it was clear that folks were just hoping there'd be better weather for the regular season opener.
